Purna Shiksha (Complete Education)
Purna Shiksha program enhances traditional education with additional training on courage, compassion, leadership and entrepreneurship qualities.  Its inspiration comes from :
  • Swami Vivekananda’s ‘Man Making Education’
  • Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar’s ‘Compassion, Learning More in Short Time and Entrepreneurship’
  • Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Wider Education’
  • Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s ‘Manual Training’

The “Purna Shiksha” program started in 2002 with funding from philanthropist, Dr. Hemprova Ghosh McDonald. Successful implementation of this program has already been done in Purulia and Barrackpore in West Bengal. This program fits in the existing curriculum and provides special coaching in Mathematics and English.

Purna Shikshayatan an Institute for underprivileged children
March Together started Purna Shikshayatan in 2008, in a rented premise at 28A Biresh Guha Road, Park Circus, Kolkata 700017, for imparting Purna Shiksha.  Ms. Rita Chaudhuri, a highly experienced and socially oriented school headmistress, is running the institute. In the last three years, thirty underprivileged children has benefitted from this institute.
